Drywall - difference in quality??
Not to be mean, but can Lafarge really do anything right? As far as I know, there is no other company in Sweden that delivers concrete tiles UNBOUND!! It's so much fun picking tile by tile in freezing rain
And also, as you mentioned earlier, gypsum that falls apart when you screw it in, you might think it was wrapped with tissue paper or something. I remember they delivered gypsum to an apartment building in Tibro where they lifted in the bundles as the building was erected, and when it came time to start using the gypsum, it couldn't be used due to poor quality, so they had to carry out X tons and bring in just as much from another manufacturer hehehe

Yes, one can really wonder about that..
Ignorance among the buyers and/or lower prices is the only thing I can think of.?
Is there anyone here who has good experience with their products??

Indeed. I am very satisfied with my roofing tiles, and I have also installed some gypsum boards from Lafarge with good results.Tossegubbe said:
Have nothing to complain about either. Sure, their paper is a bit easier to go through, but then you just need to have a bit of a feel when screwing, so that's not a problem either.
I have bought practically everything except the framework timber for my shed there and am very satisfied.

Well, I didn't mean that they can't be used, but do you really consider them to be on par with their competitors? In terms of price, there's virtually no difference for the customer, so that's not an argument...
Wasn't your brick delivered unbundled?

For my construction project, I initially estimated 50 boards, and since an acquaintance needed about the same amount, we ordered them together, which resulted in free shipping and a decent discount.
It turned out I needed 55 boards, so the last ones were from Byggmax, 59 kronor boards (2500 height), and I don't notice any difference compared to the Norgips ones. Slightly better center marking on Byggmax if I remember correctly. Black circles with crosses versus yellow dots. Both work well in good light, but the black is clearly more visible in the dark.
For installation, I decreased the torque setting on the driver, so the Byggmax boards stayed in place well. If set higher, there was a risk of driving through the cut edges.

Okay, that was strange because we received Lafarge delivered to two construction sites in the Stockholm area and we got it unbundled, after which we refused to buy Lafarge.. Other than that, there was nothing wrong with the slab but they took at least twice as long to handle..
When it comes to gypsum, it's good to have clear markings if you're not going to paint with light colors as they can sometimes show through.

Well, you can do that too
Personally, it doesn't feel like I would want to paint a few extra layers with the associated time investment to save a few bucks, but of course, it depends on your personal values.

I cheated, large flat nice roads and a laaarge roller. Let's say each layer took 30 minutes to apply.Tossegubbe said:
Hello again! Yes, what a discussion a small question can lead to.... The ceiling is done, not perfectly plastered, but.... Two coats of paint covered the black crosses (however, Fluggers somewhat more expensive...) Beautiful downlights. On Monday there will be a newly framed wall, so now I'm off to buy new plasterboards. I think I'll go with byggmax again... Kitchen installation awaits...... :-*
