Hello all plasterers, I am building an apartment in a former sewing factory and have changed from larger windows to smaller ones in a bedroom. The facade is a thick plaster and the new windows are installed with regular 120x45 studs. I would like to place some kind of board in the space between the former larger windows and the installed smaller ones, on which I can apply a thinner plaster about 10 mm thick. Behind the board, a 15 mm gap for moisture absorption and then a wind barrier and insulation. I need a board to attach to the studs that doesn't move and on which I can screw on a plastering mesh. I was thinking of using b-puts or c-puts mixed with Portland cement on the board. The existing plaster on the wall is about 30 mm thick and a very hard plaster applied directly to blåbetong. Any good tips on the board? And opinions on the plaster.
