A mental block that I need help with.
We have a sink in the laundry room with Ikea drawers below. The issue is that the door frame prevents the drawers from opening if the cabinet is against the wall, so I need a gap there. But the sink would also need the same gap... how do you handle these situations?

To the right of the sink, there should be a countertop that hasn't been purchased yet as I suspect I might need to switch to a built-in sink, something I'd rather avoid.

Standard solution?
Creative solution?

Go to a sheet metal worker who bends an angle in stainless steel.
