Hi!!

I'm thinking of extending a wall in my hallway, but there's a tiled floor there.
So my question is whether I can glue the beam to the floor with setting glue
or how should I proceed?

Thanks in advance/Kenneth

A friend of mine built an interior wall on tile floors and they simply put double-sided tape on the beam against the floor and then it stayed in place, and it got even better when all the beams between the ceiling and the floor were installed and "secured it in place." As to whether it is regulation-compliant to do so, I have no idea, but there is nothing wrong with the wall anyway...

If you're considering adhesive, why not just drill? Unless there's underfloor heating, you can just drive a couple of French screws into the floor so that the wall won't shift if someone happens to stumble ;)

I agree with MrEliott. Drill and screw if possible. Doing as Gladh suggested might work too, but if there's going to be a door in the wall or if the wall will otherwise be subjected to lateral forces, it's probably not a good long-term option. This might cause the sill to move.

PL400 could be an option

Drill and fasten in the joint.

As mentioned - if you are worried about underfloor heating, attach it with PL400 or equivalent. If there is no underfloor heating, drill holes and fasten it with screws.
