Hi

Finally, I can blame someone else :D

My partner was kind enough to do some plastering in one of the rooms while I was working on something else. Unfortunately, she forgot to use the paper tape in the joints, which I didn't notice until the next day.

It's about three joints (luckily the rest were already done) and they are plastered one round.

I assume I can't put a tape now and plaster over it?

Is there anything else that can be done?

If you're going to have wallpaper, you can sand everything down at the seam, apply tape and re-spackle. You can also sand down a section, apply tape, and spackle anew, but then it will create a bump, so the spackling should extend about 40 cm from the seam on each side, forming a long slope. It's important to trick the eye; you choose how you want to do it.
