I've been searching like crazy for a bracket/shelf support that can fold upwards in a vertical position. All except one can only fold downwards vertically.
I'm looking for one like this:

I've emailed the supplier but haven't received a response. They seem to only cater to businesses.
Anyone have tips on where I can find a similar device?

It is actually for an aft sofa that will be built on a boat.
The idea is not bad at all with the folding seat bracket. Just thinking that the seat (18-21 mm marine plywood which will be reinforced underneath to make it stiff enough) will be 170cm long and it will be quite shaky without brackets that stabilize under the seat, without good ones on the edges. I would prefer to avoid using support legs between the seat and the floor.
