I'm asking because I'm curious and can't figure it out myself. I'm going to install sheet metal (like a flashing) at the bottom of the house and I'm wondering how the heck you do it when you turn around a corner, so that it looks nice?

Cut a slit from the back and fold it, then you'll see what needs to be trimmed to make it neat. Take a small piece and experiment, and you'll quickly see how to do it. In the absence of folding pliers, you can get quite far with a ruler, a hammer, and your hands.

A bit late to thank you now, perhaps, but I've been in a critical situation. I made a simple template to get it all into my head. I solved the corners in a similar way and it turned out well.
