Is there?
I am in the process of insulating the exterior roof with expanded polystyrene, and I'm getting really fed up. Therefore, I want to check all possible shortcuts one might consider.

Today's tip is, by the way, not to buy thicker expanded polystyrene than what you can handle in a table saw (or similar). I managed to stop myself at the last second when I was about to load 28 bales of 100 mm expanded polystyrene. Instead, I went with 50 mm in two layers with staggered joints.

All the foam sealants I've tried work with styrofoam.

Agree with the above, have used many different ones and all have worked.

Thanks, I ended up gritting my teeth and doing the job right, thoroughly, and without cheating with foam. It feels better now that most of it is done. Running up and down the stage between the ceiling and the miter saw tests one's patience a bit, to say the least.

Foam plastic as insulation in roofs?
Isn't that quite flammable?
