Hello
I currently have a subfloor (house built in '44) on which I plan to lay 14 mm oak parquet. To reach somewhat the same height compared to the adjacent rooms, I thought of laying floor gypsum under the parquet, partly because it is cheaper and partly because I find it easier to lay. The question is, is this OK or not and if so, should I screw and glue the gypsum, or is screwing alone sufficient? Grateful for answers

It is perfectly sufficient to screw the gypsum, just as you can simply glue it. Both gluing and screwing feels like overkill to me.

Very good info you linked to. Thanks!
