Hello!
I'm rebuilding the porch and planning to install a sauna there.
I have cast a base and built up with LECA to get above ground level and currently have no vent in there.
My plan is to build walls and roof with paneling, air gap, wind barrier, insulation, sauna plastic, possibly a small air gap, and then inner panel. The floor is planned to have vinyl flooring on top, and otherwise, I'm unsure how to build it to avoid moisture problems. There will be a small enclosed space under the floor that is not ventilated or otherwise treated currently.
Is it sufficient to have something like an asphalt board at the bottom, then insulation, and some board on top before the vinyl flooring, or what is appropriate?
Also, if you have any comments on the roof/wall construction, I would love to hear them 😊
Thanks in advance!
