I have a question now that we have built a new house and the deck is to be built, and since we have underfloor heating in the slab, I wonder if you here think that it is possible to have a floating deck, resting on 6 lecablocks longitudinally with three beams, making it 18 lecablocks in total. The beams are 45x170 with 145x45 floor joists attached with joist hangers. Grateful for any opinions as I have only done the frame so far.

Yes, you can. But what are you really wondering? Are you afraid that the deck will move because you're not attaching it to the house? I can calmly say that it stays in place. You might possibly dislodge the deck if you crash into it with a car, but then I would be more worried about the car...

Thank you for your response, that's what I wanted to hear. I have now anchored the bearing beams in the lecablocks and also placed gravel on all the posts so that I have made it impossible to move the deck, the lawn will ensure it doesn't shift. Now it's just the decking left.
