The bed of the trailer has done its job, so now a new one is needed. Preferably, I'd like to manage with a rough-cut board. The bed measures 1350X2600X12, so around that size or larger. Is 1500X3000 the nearest standard size?

Should one use form or marine plywood for a trailer floor? The trailer is a standard open single-axle trailer.

We used Marinplyfa, expensive as gold but it lasts at least a few years (read at least 10) if you don't violently break the bottom. Unfortunately, I don't know the measurements.

Sounds good with that hållbarhet :)

The old one had probably been in place for 20 years or so, but it was borderline to breaking through. However, some parts had been replaced and some (too) heavy things transported, such as a hökanon.

If you have the ability to keep it clean and stored indoors, the lifespan is probably eternal.

There is a body plywood that is 1520x2700mm

I've heard the term stjärnplyfa on the flatbed, it's kind of star-patterned..

Thanks for the tips.
Checked with the local hardware store and it turned out they had a somewhat limited selection.
However, they do have a 1525X3050 sheet with a knotted side. Is it possible to turn one of those upside down? I want a deck where the load easily slides off.

The idea is also to countersink load eyes along the inside of the boards so that even low loads can be secured.

If it wasn't raining and the wagon was outside  I could have photographed the bottom. I actually think it's that kind of star plywood because it isn't completely even, but there are small + on it.

I ordered a new board for my cart. Bought it from 4P through an agent. The board is 1.8 x 4.0 m. I think it was 4.2 m, but the person who picked it up had to trim it for it to fit in his cart. My flatbed is 1.7 x 3.4 m, so it didn't matter. The old flatbed has really held up for a long time, even though it has carried much heavier loads than the 930 kg the cart is approved for. The cart is from '87. Yes, I had to pay 2500:- for the board.

Mine is a Fågelsta from 1977 with a maximum load of 510 kilos. Strange that it didn't like 1.5 tons then

My pallets over 2 tons. Drove roof tiles to the dump. However, I ended up without a clutch on the wife's car. Towed with a Peugeot 205; Weak stuff :)

Hehe had about 1.5 kilos in the tires that went flat when I loaded up. 2.5 kilos more and presto, it went well :D, rolled well downhill

The wear protection plywood at Beijer costs over a thousand kronor. 12x1250x2550... Surely available in larger dimensions.

Formplyfa 12x1250x2500 costs 350 bucks at Silvan. Not Mats_O's trailer, but for mine it worked perfectly fine! A cross joint over a beam since the trailer is 258 cm. Unbeatable price for a new platform, even though there might be flashier "real" boards for the purpose.

today it has been to the doctor uncle and had some cracks fixed. It is a true pleasure to see a pro work with aluminium :)
