Fix for glass mosaic

I wonder if you need any special adhesive when installing glass mosaic? Yes, I know it should be white/light. But I read somewhere that you should use a flexible adhesive and a flexible grout because glass mosaic doesn't absorb liquid like regular tiles. Does anyone know anything about this?

I would guess that all that can be used on frost-resistant can also be used on glass mosaic.
Frost-resistant tiles do not absorb water either.

There are probably similar fixatives from most suppliers specifically for glass mosaic and similar materials that are non-absorbent and more or less transparent.
