Hello,
I have a facade that is plastered with some technique that makes it look a bit bubbly. Yes, as you can tell from the lack of technical terms, my knowledge is quite limited. Some cracks have developed in the facade, and I've been looking for ways to repair them. Everywhere it says to knock off loose plaster and apply new plaster. But in the examples I see, the cracks are maybe 5-10mm. The cracks on this facade run like a vein down and are maybe 1 mm, max 2, and if you press around them, it's rock hard.
Regardless, I want to repair this to prevent water from penetrating, so it doesn't become a big problem from something you can barely see today unless you look very closely. What should I do? Paint a few times so the paint seeps in? Try to press in some plaster even though I'm not sure if it's possible? Apply a flexible sealant and then paint?
Best regards
