Hello,

I am renovating a house from the 1920s. The walls are masonry. Both interior and exterior walls, and ceilings are plastered. Unfortunately, there are quite a few cracks in the ceilings. So far, I have scraped out the cracks and filled them with sand filler. Is that okay??

The cracks become half to one centimeter deep after scraping, with reed visible at the bottom. It looks good after I have painted, but will it last? Should I use some other material to repair it with?

Grateful for your response

Best regards
