hello!

how do I repair these cracks in the wall before painting it?

should I use some sort of fix mortar, or can I spread some kind of sealant?

the cracks are very thin/narrow, so I suspect it might be difficult to get fix or something similar in there?

Why does it crack?

actually don't know since I haven't lived in the house for long.. the old owner mentioned that they're old desiccation cracks but I don't know...

I haven't seen any changes during my first year in the house

You can buy repair mortar at the hardware store, which you rub in with a float board. Make sure to get a mortar with the smallest stone fraction possible.

I had scraped up a joint in the crack, otherwise you probably get too little material in..

I think I have mur/putsbruk B and C at home... can I use that or does it have to be a special repair mortar?

Anything else to consider other than scraping out the cracks a bit?

So it's not possible with any paintable sealant?
