Hi, new "writer" on the forum, but have read quite a bit.
I plan to tackle my basement after clearing it of parquet and plastered walls.
I'm thinking of laying tiles on the floor and plastering the walls before painting with silicate paint.
Now to my question, is there any specific adhesive and plaster I should choose? I'm thinking about breathability, etc...
The house was built in '79, lecablocks for the basement walls. The house was insulated with isodrän three years ago...
Thoughts and tips are welcome!

Hello
fix is always diffusion-open so there is no mistake to be made there, however, it is important to get a good anchoring with the concrete, sand and prime the floor so the fix has good adhesion.
On the walls, I would use B-bruk since you have leka walls, this will create a good and durable surface.

Great, thanks for the response! Regarding primer, I have read on this forum that it is generally not diffusion-open, which is why it shouldn't be used on the basement floor..? Are there primers that are diffusion-open?
Since you have redone the drainage (I hope) and insulated externally, you should not have any problems with moisture coming into the concrete slab. This is the main concern when it comes to moisture in basements and surface materials that don't hold up. Then you have chosen surface materials that are inorganic, which is the best choice.
All suppliers of primer have diffusion-open variants, weber, finja, etc.
