I am wondering what options are available regarding a firewall behind a wood-burning stove.
I am planning to install an "Austroflamm PI" and need to get it as close to the wall as possible (the reason for this is that the chimney/flue will otherwise come too close/hit a roof truss), chimney NVI 2000 top-mounted.

Unfortunately, I don't think there are many alternatives to a fire wall unless you have a masonry wall behind it.
I myself thought (Contura 460) that I could get away by installing fireproof boards in the wall behind, but the suggestion was rejected by the installer who still put up a fireproof wall on the outside. So now I have both belt and braces...
