Read BBR, Boverkets Byggregler, www.boverket.se.
It depends on what fire rating is required.
Should it withstand 30 minutes or 60, or even more?

I have just received building permission and had a construction meeting for my attached garage with living space both beside and above.
In my case, a 30-minute fire rating applies to the walls/ceiling adjacent to the living space, and according to the rescue service, this should be fairly easy to achieve even with single plasterboard.
