I've just started building my deck, which will be about 75 square meters. Since my municipality requires it to be level with the floor inside the house and partially extend over a slope, there will be some height variations. I've already struggled with setting about ten prefabricated plinths in crushed stone and fill material for the first row supporting the main beam. The height between the plinth and the finished floor is about 50 to 100 cm for these. I haven't started on the outer row yet, but it will range between 150 and 250 cm from the ground to the floor.

The deck will extend between 360 and 480 cm out from the house and will be attached to the facade.

Are prefabricated 700 plinths suitable for a build like this? I understand there's no reinforcement in prefabricated plinths and read somewhere that such a plinth is supposed to support 4kn, which might not mean much to me other than interpreting it as supporting 400kg, which feels a bit low considering Biltema's plastic terrace feet can support 800kg? It would be really nice if I didn't have to cast my own plinths, but I don't want everything to collapse. Do you have any thoughts to share on this?
