Fine mesh stainless steel net for protection against insects and snow.
Need to find fine mesh stainless steel netting to prevent blowing snow and insects at the eaves of a metal roof with TRP45 profile and 5-degree slope. (It should cover the openings in the metal profile itself) Need 0.15 x 40 meters. It MUST NOT be aluminum since aluminum reacts with the metal roof and causes rust. Plastic is also not an option as it doesn't last long. (Don't want to use sealant strips as it would restrict roof ventilation too much)
The questions are:
1. How fine should the mesh be to prevent blowing snow and rain?
2. Where can I buy it? (I've seen alternatives on VidaXL but have had a really bad experience with them)

Hi, how did it go? Did you choose VidaXL or something else?kmartinb said:
I found this now as I am looking for something similar to release to the vents in the attic and air gap when replacing the roof. To keep insects and birds away.

In Australia and the USA and likely elsewhere, stainless steel mesh is used against termites. Check termimesh and termistop. From a previous project, I have a roll (about 30 cm wide) lying around. PM if interested.
