During the renovation work of a 50s house, I have lost a few meters of cornice that I now need to replace, see image. They are 5cm high and 4cm deep.

I don't think I can find the exact same one, but if I find something similar, I think it can be spliced over without it showing too much.

I've searched at hardware stores and conservation firms but haven't managed to find anything that fits really well. The closest I found is a skirting board at Hornbach which is 21x43mm, see image. I thought if I cut the pieces so the board lies flush instead, it will be quite similar.

The height works fairly well, becomes about 4cm after adjustment, but the depth will be less than 2cm, i.e., less than half of the existing board and I think that might be problematic.

Does anyone have tips on a more suitable board before I try the Hornbach board?

Existing boards:
White ceiling cornice in a 1950s house corner, with dimensions of 5cm high and 4cm deep, showing a renovation in progress.

Skirting board 21x43 at Hornbach.
Wooden crown molding with a 5cm height and 4cm depth, featuring a shadow line design. Seeking a similar replacement piece for renovation.

The Skugglist is available at K-Rauta, not Hornbach.
