I am currently building a fence with horizontal slats. The plot has a rounded corner. I'm wondering if there is a smart way to attach/saw the slats on the posts so that it looks nice? The posts are square, but it doesn't fit when the slats are angled. Hope you understand what I mean. See sketch.

Without thinking it through, I probably would have mitred the posts and rotated them to follow the curve. You also need to mitre the ribs the same amount.

I would probably spontaneously do the opposite: have the flat side of the post against the tip of the fence slats and cut a triangular filler piece to place in between. If it is indeed the opposite...

But I would probably first set up several variants and see which I thought looked best. It might vary depending on the size of the post, the number of slats, and who knows what else.

I am facing the same situation. How did you resolve this in the end? Anyone else with tips?
