What should one choose for fastening to the roof beams? I am torn between angles or perforated straps.
If I use perforated straps, I need to mill a groove on the top edge to prevent them from sticking up, but at the same time, I get better fastening against uplift forces. Tongue and groove boarding with a shallow flat roof, low but relatively exposed to wind.
