Hi, I'm currently making some changes to the staircase and would need some tips on clever ways to attach the handrail to the wall.
I'm considering just using an angled screw from underneath but wondering if there's another way to do it? Angle irons feel a bit boring to add, and attaching something to the wall first becomes tricky with the glass panel.
As usual, I'm probably overthinking the problem, but if you have any creative suggestions, I'd gladly welcome them.
Staircase with a glass panel and wooden railing being renovated. A clamp is visible holding the top rail in place against the wall. Staircase landing with a glass panel railing secured by a clamp, wooden handrails, exposed light bulbs, and a blue abstract painting on the wall.

Keep in mind that it must withstand an adult person falling into it.
