Has anyone seen fascia timber used indoors? Instead of a wall of rough sawn paneling that is seen "everywhere" nowadays, I mean? Other material to get the feeling of an exposed timber frame?

You can go out to a sawmill and buy "bakar," the outermost part of a tree. But remember that it has to dry properly.

It's not easy to work with, but it looks nice if done the "right" way.

...to find an alternative to råsponten. "Bakan" hadn't occurred to me, I think it falls on the fact that I don't have time to wait for it to dry. I will google huggen timmerpanel and see what I find. Thanks for the answer!

I can highly recommend fascia timber indoors; it brings life to the entire house. Attaching a picture of our hallway where we have installed fascia timber.
