I need some expert help/advice, I have built a log house on an existing poured one-story foundation from the early 1900s. Outside the foundation, we have put up foam insulation and I simply wonder what or how I should clad the foundation; it is 6 meters between the corners and nothing but foam insulation in between? In other words, if I am going to clad with horizontal wood, how can I attach them without major intrusion to the "insulated" surface? On three of the walls, there are no problems because there are posts or balconies above so you can make it look good, this just concerns one long side, all suggestions are welcome.
Question 2
Interior concrete foundation, what should I clad it with?
It should be as thin as possible since it is already insulated from the outside. The walls are in need of some filling on the inside, do I need to fix this before? Considering the incoming suggestions for the inside cladding.

Thanks in advance
