Hello!
We are mainly considering building our architect-designed single-story house with our own floor plan from loose timber. However, I received a suggestion from the Architect to use prefabricated concrete walls, as I would like to have a more maintenance-free house. Is there anyone here on Byggahus who knows if this is a solution that works well? I'm thinking of potential moisture issues. There may be a risk of moisture/rain seeping in between the building elements, which I have read about.

The wall elements consist of a load-bearing concrete shell with foam insulation on the inside and wooden battens for mounting to finish the inside of the walls. Cross-section of a prefabricated concrete wall with internal foam insulation and wooden studs for panel installation. Swedish text labels insulation and studs.

On the inside, an installation layer will be added, covered with OSB and gypsum.
Regards,
Björn
