Do you have any pictures of how it looks like after a couple of years?
Here's a picture from April 2020, the decking 34x145 was laid in May 2016, so 4 years
Wooden deck with untreated boards cleaned with decking cleaner and bleached with oxalic acid, featuring a hot tub and lounge chair, April 2020.
The decking is untreated but cleaned with decking cleaner and bleached with oxalic acid.
But don't use decking oil with linseed oil because then the decking will turn black! Check here, post #6

How do you work closest to the facade where you can't reach with the tool? Do you have to screw "as usual" on the last one?

no other way than straight from above, that's how we did it today...

another question: craftsmen installed incorrectly, so tomorrow they need to redo 12 boards at 4.2 m length, they can't just unscrew and then use the same holes on the joists, right? and the 12 decking boards, mustn't they move them a few cm away from the existing holes?

Illustration showing cross-sectional drawings of wood planks with arrows, labeled "glad mun" and "sur mun," indicating installation methods for hidden screws. Should the decking be screwed with a smile or a frown when it comes to hidden screws, HDS/Hidden Deck? I am attaching a drawing that best describes my question.
Another question: with the smiling face, the heartwood, which has the best resistance, is facing up and offers better protection against sun and rain, but with the frowning face, it's facing down and can instead better protect against higher humidity and poor ventilation. With a smile, you might think that water could seep into the wood between the growth rings, which can't be good!? And with a frown, the water can more easily run off like on a roof with overlapping tiles!? I welcome reflections!

I am trying to achieve a happy vibe. The rings will try to straighten out, so with a happy vibe, there won't be ditches where the water remains.

The best is to find planks with a kärna. :)

I think the opposite, it's nice when the wood is dark, so I use cold-pressed linseed oil. Lasts a long time and avoids solvents, but it's not for those who want to keep the light shade🙂
