I'm tired of our staircase with steps in stained pine, dreaming of oak steps. I found www.stepkit.com online that sells a kit where you glue a sheet of, for example, oak onto the existing step to get a 'budget' version of, for example, an oak staircase.
Has anyone tried stepkit, experiences? Other opinions, is it just as well to bite the bullet and buy a new staircase right away!?
