A neighbor has some stone slabs that are on a hard surface. The stone slabs are level, but the surface is uneven, in some places by a couple of centimeters.
There are posts on the slabs.
The question is whether you can cast with expanding concrete under and around the slabs and do it without a mold, or if you have to use a mold for it to work?
