In the apartment, there's an empty space between two walls. Yesterday, I found a hatch that could be opened in a closet. The space is about 60 cm wide and 30 cm deep and seems to continue all the way down to the basement. It ends above my apartment since I live at the top of the building.
Anyone have an idea what it is or has been used for? Pipes and such do not run through this shaft.
Thanks for the suggestions. Felt it and there's actually a slight draft when you put your hand in, so it's not impossible.
The strange thing, however, is that it doesn't seem to go out into my apartment but just passes through, except for a hatch in the closet, and above it seemingly stops at the ceiling.
