Hello
I'm planning to install 13 mm plasterboard on plywood and need to add 13 mm to the window recess so the plasterboard can meet the trim and then a casing on top. But why is it so difficult to find 13 mm "moldings"? They don't need to be painted. I seem to be bad at finding the right type of wood.
If you have any tips or links, I would be grateful.

Take a 12mm foder and split it, and you'll have two pieces.

This is what it looks like, see image. What is on the right is a window (the rendering got a bit messed up). Around the window is a frame. Around that frame is plywood that is about 0-1 mm thicker than the window's frame (reveal). Then there should be drywall on the plywood. It is just arbitrarily placed in the picture.

When I check the measurements of the trim, they seem to cover 12 mm. That is not enough to cover drywall of 13 mm, is it?

The plasterboard is 12.5mm. If the moulding doesn't work, you'll have to split what you need.
