Hello again!

New construction.
I plan to attach an underlying panel, under the roof boards on the roof. With fascia around.
The frame on the gable has the truss standing on the inside right up against it.

-How do I attach the fascia at the gables in a good way?
-For what reason is a wall plate usually not attached to the gable peak?

Thanks

How did they do it in the past?
I guess you can put up temporary ones without load-bearing, but that doesn't seem very serious to do.
Do you attach it to the rafter backward?

I have similar thoughts and saw a solution in post #6 in this thread

Feels a bit shaky, but if you nail in the wind board too, it should hold, right?

My problem is similar, I want the eaves enclosed and then the gable will also have to be enclosed. Any more suggestions on how?

Roof overhang with exposed wooden beams and soffit boards in need of finishing.

Rickard.
Hanging up underspikning between the roof truss and the fascia works fine with a piece of lumber like 45x70.
