Planning to install plasterboard on the ceiling and considering choosing Norgips Plan with recessed edges on all sides to increase the chances of a smooth ceiling.
Two questions:
1. Is it worth the extra cost, i.e., is it easier to get a good result?
2. Is there any other product apart from Norgips Plan that has recesses on all sides? The local store just ran out of theirs.

Yes, it's definitely worth the cost even if you have higher walls where a single board isn't enough in height, it's good to use these boards.
I believe most manufacturers have these boards; I think Gyproc calls them planum..
Any reasonable building materials store should be able to order the desired amount..

Sounds like you agree on the usefulness. I'll have to check what's available, as usual, right on time.
There's a significant price difference between different brands and compared to regular ones (I assume the manufacturing process is more complicated).
