How do you make a hole in a 50 mm thick paving stone? Need to recess a ground spot. Looked at hole saws in the hardware store. Tips are welcome!

A bit unclear what diameter you need for the hole?

I don't know the diameter yet as I haven't chosen a fixture yet. Does this one from wolfcraft work?

Nothing good in pure concrete, doesn't gnaw well, have one that I have drilled into brick with even there tough

Yep it is just a different type, the discontinued one was a cutter diamond all around no serrations.

How do you drill? Is water cooling required? Without percussion, I assume, to avoid cracking the paving stone?
