Have tried to search for this in the forum.

I am going to install a 6mm non-tempered glass panel as a backsplash, but I need to make holes in the glass for electrical outlets. Can I drill into the glass?

Can and can. It can probably be done but I wouldn't do it myself. It probably costs a bit to buy the tools needed. When we checked the prices, it wasn't too expensive to get the disc drilled. You have to be precise with the measuring though...

Make sure it doesn't get hot. I once tried for fun to drill through a car window (tempered) with an ordinary steel drill bit. At first, nothing happened, then the drill got so hot that it melted through the glass like butter. A moment after I stopped drilling, it went pop and the window had pulverized. Untempered glass doesn't explode but cracks due to thermal stress.

Tile drill bits should work, at least that's what it says on the packaging.

Low RPM, tile drill and a bit of denatured alcohol to cool with?
