...but with what?? I've tried with a tile drill, but the outdoor tiles just crack.

What do you mean by kakelborr?

There are similar ones that are a bit cheaper and work well in a regular drill (significantly lower RPM than an angle grinder).

There are also even cheaper ones with carbide instead of diamond, but then you have to work on it forever, although you'll get through.

How big diameter? Granite ceramics or outdoor tiles? How many holes?

Kind regards, fremax

@fremax Outdoor tiles, a number of about 3mm holes near the edges (will attach edge strips).
@hempularen Yeah, who knows... it said something on the packaging about tiles, but I don't remember more than that. The last time I tried was actually before the winter season, but now that what was hidden in snow has come up in the thaw, the question has gained renewed relevance.

Then predator drills for angle grinders, (at least 4mm as far as I know?) lasts long and minimizes cracks.

Kind regards, fremax

Interesting, I've never seen a drill for an angle grinder before. You learn something new every day.

See Kramlas link, but it seems like 6mm is the minimum. That is probably correct. I myself drill with water-cooled diamond drill bits where the drills are 4mm at the smallest.

Best regards, fremax
