Hello.

I bought a K8 Chin-up bar from Atletica. It should be mounted with M10x100 screws in the ceiling with ø12-60 plugs. A total of 8 screws.

My gut feeling says that 10 cm screws in a typical indoor ceiling/floor made of concrete might be borderline too long?

I plan to use a hammer drill with a ø12 bit.

I also think the plugs seem a bit short (60 mm), I mean the whole screw must go into the ceiling (100 mm)?

Forget the crappy screw and plug. Buy concrete screws from a proper hardware store that can help you with the sizing.

For this reason, I would be careful drilling more than 6 centimeters - this is the thickness of the prefabricated element and you can safely drill in it. Of course, you may encounter reinforcement, but not pipes or cables.
