I have a company that is working on draining the house with a recreation room. The foundation is made of aerated concrete. When I got home from work tonight, I discovered that the façade in the recreation room has been pressed in by the excavator, the entire wall is covered with visible cracks and more. What should I consider now that the construction company is going to address this? Should an independent surveyor be brought in? I haven't talked to the company yet, just discovered it at half past midnight.

  • Wall with visible cracks and textured surface, under a fish tank with plants.
  • Visible cracks on a light-colored wall in a basement recreation room, likely caused by an excavator impact during drainage work.
  • A wall with visible cracks above a radiator, showing damage from construction work.
