Double planking with horizontal boards
Hello
I'm going to build a fence around 210cm high. Horizontal boards on alternating sides. The posts will be 95x95.
Something like this:

Has anyone built something similar and can share some pictures?
According to the construction description, the horizontal ones should be 45x120, which feels a bit bulky, but maybe it will be symmetrical when it's in place.

We have one like that which the previous owners of the house built. Overall, it's a quite nice looking fence but I have a lot of maintenance to do in the coming time with painting and replacing certain planks.
The boards are 145x28, by the way, and I think that's quite sleek. The big issue is that the posts are starting to rot and need replacing, and it also needs braces in two places so it doesn't lean.
Thanks. How much space is there between the boards? It looks like it's less than 145?Ossian K Olsson said:
