this is what I think
a drywall knife is the best. blade-runner is for those who don't drywall often.
because blade-runner has problems with gypsum dirt on the knife
Yes, that's what I was a bit unsure about, also that the magnet falls off when it becomes a bit worn. Feels like I'll stick to my "old" gypsum cutter with double blades.:)

I have always used a utility knife and a steel ruler/straightedge, and it has worked well for my small jobs. Then I have used a regular wood rasp. When making non-straight cuts, like cutting out just a piece of the board above a door, I have used my worst handsaw.

The utility knife is cheap, the ruler is good for all sorts of things, the rasp will probably become dull soon. If you only have one handsaw, it quickly becomes your worst when you buy a new one.

What I want to say is that you can manage very well with relatively simple tools. But after drywall work, they are pretty much guaranteed to be dull.

A tip is to go and buy the cheapest jigsaw you can find at, for example, jula and saw blades, cut them to the length you need, e.g., 13mm as a drywall is, then you can go on walls without cutting into the studs. It's useful if you need to cut out a piece in the wall, the piece becomes straight and nice and can be put back later or used as a template, or if you need to do like magnu, cut out a piece but are too lazy to use a handsaw ;)
