If I start the dormer at the ridge beam and continue outward, and remove some rafters, will I affect the stability? If so, how wide a dormer can I make according to the Attefall rule? My nearest ridge beam is about 2.5 M from the facade, so I assume I'll have a good ceiling height at least!
