does oil-hardened masonite breathe?
Since it apparently was difficult to get answers to this (even outside the forum), I thought the manufacturer should definitely know.
Tried to call the Masonite factory to get answers, but their number now leads to a religious organization.
Is there any other factory in Sweden, or is everything imported nowadays?

There are no "dead" materials that breathe. Only living beings do.
The masonite that Moelven sells doesn't seem to have any difference between oil-hardened and regular.
