Will be putting up drywall on a ceiling tomorrow and became unsure if it's best to snap all the boards to a non-beveled edge, meaning cutting off the outermost 5 cm. Spackling against corners is never fun.
 
Yep, easier to get a nice connection with even edges. So I always remove the chamfer when connecting to a wall and at outer corners.

If you're going to have moldings, cut away to avoid unnecessary work, but if you're going to putty the ceiling and wall together, I don't think it's so bad either, but that also comes from a total amateur at this.
