I am going to replace the floor on the balcony with something newer; there are lots of cracks and it's ugly, mossy and the like. The question I am facing now, do I need/should I also replace the joists? They are 150x45 and placed 60cm apart. I've checked with a knife and they seem intact except for the top layer (1-2mm).
Attached is a picture.
