The other day when I was going to screw some things outdoors, I realized that these screws might rust after a while. Neither pretty nor practical IMO.
But do you need stainless steel screws when screwing things outdoors? Or are there other alternatives?
I would appreciate tips on good wood screw assortments for outdoor use.

Normally not. Look for screws with a C4 rating, and it will work well. Example here, https://www.jula.se/catalog/bygg-oc...ostfria-skruvar/traskruvar/traskruvar-302338/
No, you do not need stainless screws, but you can choose Grabber's stainless TREX with LOX bits if you wish. You and your successors will swear every time you have to move or remove a screw and wish you had chosen regular galvanized nails instead.
I would have chosen regular surface-treated screws for outdoor use, preferably with a torx head if the house has no architectural preservation qualities.
