Hello, I'm unable to find the dimensions for the following in the tables I have:
The trusses will be placed with center-to-center spacing of 1200mm, but it seems like I should have something in between so I can nail battens every 600mm. So every other truss should have every other 45x195mm (?) stud, the question now is what dimensions should that stud have?
Above it will be a cold attic that cannot be furnished. The span is 5300mm.

If one is worried, a 45x45 can be nailed between the chairs to bind the sparse panel together.

It's on the inside I'm thinking, what's going to be the ceiling.
Is it enough to nail spacing battens (28x70mm) with cc300 mm in the trusses that are at cc1200, and then screw the drywall onto that?
Won't the drywall sag then? So it becomes wavy?

I would prefer to first layer rough sawn wood so that if an accident happens and someone steps wrong up in the attic, you don't have a foot going straight through the gypsum ceiling.micke berglund said:
No, it shouldn't sag if you nail 28x70 on cc300.micke berglund said:

I prefer to put plywood on the ceiling as well, then you can screw things up anywhere you like.

thank you for all the answers, it was nice to avoid both cost and labor!
