It's around the screw so it probably has something to do with it. What kind of screw is it?

Or Biltema

Unfortunately, I don't know. I will check with the contractor...
Should it be stainless when it's a balcony without a roof? (professionally executed?)
There were so many knots and deep screw holes, so I have sanded quite a lot around the screw holes, so I thought it might be that I have deepened the holes around the screw heads?

Rickard.
"Pre-drill or use self-drilling wood screws in stainless acid-resistant A4 quality to reduce the risk of cracking. If non-stainless fasteners are used, dark rings can appear around the fastener head, streak marks can occur, and the metal can corrode."

Taken from Moelven, but the same probably applies regardless of the supplier.

IF it is C4 screws and you have sanded the screw heads, you may have removed the surface treatment and exposed the material, which then rusts and discolors.
However, C4 screws can unfortunately still discolor decking.
