I am sitting in a hotel room in South Africa right now and have come up with an idea involving IKEA's curtain track Kvartal ( http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/80079363/ ).
I am itching terribly to start playing in SketchUp, but I would need measurements of the grooves in the profile. Is there a kind soul who could measure how the grooves on the track look, both on the underside and the top side, as well as the thickness of the track? I would be eternally grateful..

Make an attempt on a leftover piece.
The track's maximum width is 45.0. The outer edges are slightly rounded so the max width is in the middle.

Upper track width (mount against the ceiling) 5.5
Depth 10.4
Lower tracks width (curtain tracks) 4.0
Depth 7.5
